Bioprepare Mac Conkey Agar No2 Plates 10 pieces

Bioprepare Mac Conkey Agar No2 is a nutrient medium where Enterococcus grows (apart from enteric bacteria) with the addition of bile salts. Gram(-) negative enterobacteria that ferment lactose form red or pink colonies. Bile salts No 2 and crystal violet inhibit the growth of gram(+) positive cocci (except for Enterococcus). The neutral red indicator turns colour when lactose is fermented. The pack contains 10 pieces of 90mm and it is stored at 6-12°C.
